The HME Home Medical Equipment Fair is fast approaching on April 5th at the Tradex. Here are just a few of the featured products you will see there.

Accessable will be featuring a new product that they have already started to install. It’s called the Cleancut Ultralow bathtub insert. This new version allows them to reduce the wall of the tub up to 6 inches more than before.
Blake will be featuring Geo-Matrix Cushions, Accessories, the new Silverback line of backs, and new Low Hybrid and Hybrid Deep cushions.
Can-Dan Rehatec Ltd. specializes in the manufacturing of Height Adjustable Change Tables and is the Canadian distributor of products from Meyland-Smith that assist both children and adults with physical disabilities, requiring adaptive equipment. They will be showcasing the Meywalk 4 small, and Buddy Roamer.
Drive will be featuring the Bellevita, Bariatric Nitro Rollator, Cruiser X4 Wheelchair, and other ADL products.
EMP will be showing their complete line of specialty mattress products and fall prevention products. In addition, EMP will show their wheelchair seating product line.
5 Minds will be introducing the new surface the ‘Acute’. It is our newest surface with Shear Reduction Technology (SRT) and is designed for the high-risk client. The entire surface is covered with 3″ of GelFlex for optimal pressure management. It will accommodate up to two ‘air’ inserts if needed.
Maple Leaf Wheelchair will be featuring the super Tilt, the NRG+ Gold and their line of Commodes.
Nighthawk will be featuring: Transfer boards – They now are stocking 11 Canadian made transfer boards. With endless possibilities for custom ones to be made as well; Pin-Core foam added on to the adjustable backs and the keyhole for extra comfort; and 934 Walkers – Weighing in at 13 pounds these walkers are great for the elderly and smaller people.
Nuvision will be featuring the Focus CR, Ki Mobility’s state of the art rotational tilt in space chair; the Little Wave Flip, Ki Mobility’s new folding tilt, which gives families the look and feel of a stroller for a first mobility device; and the Easy Access Sling, ideal for low tone or variable tone clients, as well as high tone and extenders.
Ottobock will be featuring: Skippi pediatric powerchair – early intervention powerchair that disassembles and interfaces with Squiggles, Mygo, custom configured, custom and off the shelf seating; Horizon stander – complex stander with 3 sizes for approximately ages 4 to adult; Mygo stander – complex stander with 2 sizes for approximately ages 4 – 14; Kimba Neo mobility base and seat – moderate to complex seating and a full features stroller base; Kimba Kruze stroller – moderate positioning stroller and OBSS Custom Seating – now available with new scanning technology that speeds up the custom seating process significantly.
Permobil will be featuring the Virtual Seating Coach: The patent-pending, Virtual Seating Coach will allow clinicians to program appropriate seating recommendations, remind their clients to keep up their good work, and track the progress… all with a smartphone!
Quart Healthcare will be showing the SmartDrive Power Add-on device, instantly converting any manual wheelchair to a power chair. Quart will also be showing their complete offering of Low Air Loss mattress products

Sidewinder is bringing a manual side entry lowered floor minivan, power side entry lowered floor minivan, manual rear entry lowered floor minivan and newly developed Dodge ProMaster full size accessible van. They’ll also have some assistive driving devices and restraint systems displays.
Symmetric will be featuring the Free Form Seating – provides a custom seating solution that will change with a person’s postural needs. www.freeformseating.com
Westech will be presenting their new line of homecare mattresses from Health Calm. They have 4 new mattresses and will be presenting 3 of them at the show. One is a pure rehab mattress with removable sections, another has side buildups to prevent entrapment and the third has a softer feel due to a convolute memory foam top layer. We will also present our new pediatric tilt wheelchair called the Spiral and our new pediatric manual chair called the Torpedo.
