May 30, 2019 (Victoria) – HME Mobility & Accessibility is excited to announce the opening of their new Victoria Location. Located in the community of Colwood – the new space offers over 10,000 sq. Ft. of warehouse space with an additional 4,000 sq. Ft. of showroom and office space.
Equipped with a custom fitting room – which includes a
hospital bed and overhead lift system – the space is available to fit clients
for specialized wheelchairs in a private, accessible environment. “I’m thrilled
that our new location is equipped to enhance our customer’s experience and I’m
excited to use our new fitting room with clients shortly,” said Graham Plant,
Senior Rehabilitation Seating and Mobility Consultant.
Located at 102 – 2657 Wilfert Road, the new space is centrally located in the fast-growing Westshore Community with easy, accessible, and free parking at the front of the location. HME’s previous Vancouver Island location on Government Street is now closed. This new location will enable HME to service clients in Central and Southern Vancouver Island, as well as the surrounding area.
HME Victoria has over 15 full-time staff and specializes in adult rehabilitation equipment sales, loans, and servicing, as well as complete accessibility services including stairlifts and patient lifts. The new location will allow HME to expand further by being one of the Medical Equipment Provision Providers (‘MEPP’) for VIHA on Vancouver Island. Furthermore, HME has over five years of experience in pediatric equipment – being one of the largest pediatric dealers in B.C. and the exclusive CMEDS provider – and HME Victoria’s new location will enable the expansion into pediatric equipment on Vancouver Island.
A grand opening celebration will occur in September 2019,
