In 2011, Robert and Cameron had been looking at the Health Care industry and wanted to improve the lives of seniors and people living with disabilities. Both Robert and Cameron have had personal experience watching their family members age and wanted to provide better options and introduce a new and improved approach to how medical equipment is provided in BC.

Robert and Cameron believe that people always come first and are proud to have a successful team of specialized staff that are energized in the market. HME plans on continuing its growth and supporting our community with our HME Gives Back Program.

As a proud B.C. owned and operated company, HME recognizes the importance of giving back to the local communities it serves. Led by Robert and Cameron (the company's founders and co-Presidents), they have made giving back central to the company's culture. Over the past 18 years, HME has been a proud supporter of the ALS Society, MS Society, Richmond Hospital Foundation, BC Children's Hospital, and countless other charities and foundations.
In 2020, Robert and Cameron recognized the increasingly challenging times facing many of the families and clients they serve and the vital work done by foundations and charities to meet these growing needs. Robert and Cameron recognized that the medical equipment dealers' industry could play a critical role in assisting those in need. To that end, HME decided to establish and launch the HME Gives Back initiative.
Under the HME Gives Back initiative, HME sets aside a portion of its profit to fund crucial initiatives to help the communities it serves. In 2020, HME was honoured to help over 15 important causes in the community.
