Richmond, B.C. – The ALS Society of B.C. today announced that HME Mobility and Accessibility, and Pride Mobility Products, will be presenting sponsors of the ‘Walks for ALS in B.C. & Yukon in 2017.’
The ‘Walks for ALS’ across Canada is the signature event for promoting awareness of Amyotrophic Laterals Sclerosis (ALS) and raising crucial funds for patient care and ALS research.
Fifteen walks will take place in 2017 at locations across B.C. and Yukon.
“I am thrilled and very thankful for the support of HME and Pride Mobility Products,” said Wendy Toyer, Executive Director of the ALSBC.
“We entrust HME with the management of our equipment loan program – the most-utilized service provided to our clients – and with them we have enjoyed more than 10 years of excellent service and support.”
She added: “We believe that our new partnership with the Walks for ALS will further strengthen our valued relationship.”
“We are very proud to be active supporters of ALSBC, and especially pleased this year to sponsor Walks for ALS,” said Robert Boscacci, a partner with HME Mobility and Accessibility.
“Walks for ALS is a great series of events designed to encourage support for the great work done by ALSBC,” said Margaret Arnold of Pride Mobility Products. “We are extremely pleased to be involved this year with HME in promoting this year’s events.”
