As our team of experienced Rehabilitation Seating and Mobility Consultants continues to grow, we have added new and exciting services that include: a Comprehensive Pressure Mapping Service and Custom Seating Service to aid in meeting our clients’ needs.
To aid therapists in funding applications or complex seating problems, we are pleased to now offer a comprehensive pressure mapping service. Therapists can book a pressure mapping appointment in conjunction with an equipment trial, or separately, to assist in finding the best equipment solution for their client.
Sessions are free of charge and include a comprehensive report for the therapist. Please allow for a minimum of one hour for a pressure mapping appointment. Our trained staff will meet you and your client at their home or facility and make the pressure mapping equipment available.
HME now offers two custom seating services: Custom Ride Cushions and Backrests, as well as, Foam-In-Place Custom Backrests.
Ride Designs Custom Products
We are pleased to now offer custom Ride Designs Custom Cushions and Backrests.
Ride custom cushions off-load at-risk bony prominences and redistribute sitting forces to more tolerant areas resulting in a higher level of postural control coupled with superior skin protection.
Ride custom backs are thin profile and light weight and have little or no impact on wheelchair seat depth, width or performance, making the backs appropriate even for active users. Additionally, the infinitely adjustable FlexLoc wheelchair interface permits adjustment in every axis of movement ensuring optimal balance and postural control.

Foam-in-place can provide a custom molded backrest to support your complex client’s unique postural requirements.
