Carla has a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and is also a RESNA certified Assertive Technology Professional (ATP). With over 15 years of experience as a Rehabilitation Seating & Mobility Consultant, Carla has worked with a diverse group of clientele ranging from Pediatric to Geriatric clients. She specializes in complex Rehab Seating, Power/Manual Mobility, as well as Pediatrics. Carla enjoys helping individuals and their families improve their quality of life by finding accessibility solutions and appropriate equipment for them. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her own family including two young daughters.
With a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, Katie has volunteered in various areas of the rehabilitation industry including the ICORD Spinal Cord Centre, Neuromotion Physiotherapy, and First Steps Spinal Cord Wellness Center. Katie has also previously worked as a registered Kinesiologist for over 2 years performing active rehab with ICBC clients. In the past 4 years at HME, Katie has had many different roles as she continues to grow within the company. Working alongside Michelle Harvey in the Pediatrics department, Katie has developed a passion and expertise working with Pediatric clients.
Combining her Bachelors of Kinesiology, an extended Minor in Psychology, as well as over 8 years working in customer service, Shannon is equipped to help those in need. With a focus on both Pediatric and Adult populations, Shannon can help clients find the necessary equipment for their mobility and rehabilitation needs. As a former athlete competing as a Canadian Trampoline Gymnast and her Kinesiology background, Shannon understands the importance of mobility for all.
With over 16 years in the Mobility & Accessibility industry and an Occupational Therapy background, Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and technical experience to the HME team. Throughout her career, Michelle has been a speaker at the International Seating Symposium, the European Seating Symposium, and the Canadian Seating and Mobility Conference. Additionally, she is also certified in Ride’s Custom Seating.
Graham graduated with an Advance Diploma in Biomedical Engineering and over 12 years specifically as a Seating and Mobility Consultant. Currently he holds the Senior Sales Representative Position located on Vancouver Island. He consistently applies his strong aptitude for seating, positioning, posture, and advanced mobility within the field of power, tilt, manual and rigid wheelchair frame technology.
