With over 4 years of experience in the Health Care Equipment industry, Eli is HME’s leading elevating and accessibility consultant. He has a background in both Kinesiology and Communications which he utilizes in his solution-based approach when working with all his clients. As HME’s Accessibility lead, Eli is essential to the entire division where he is continually updating the team about the current marketplace as well as the important training of up-and-coming Accessibility sales representatives.
Gavin was a registered nurse for six years before becoming a mobility and seating consultant for HME. Daily, he is working closely one-on-one with clients, as well as long-term care facilities, which Gavin believes has given him a 360-degree view when stepping into the hospital. As a top consultant, Gavin is one of HME’s go-to experts and team leads in many areas of equipment and business development.
Jeff is the longest standing Sales Rep at HME, with over 7.5 years of direct industry experience, and 3 previous years as a Rehab Assistant with VCH and Access Therapists. Through his work in the community and long-term care settings with allied health professionals, he has a skillset tailored to clients who require Power Wheelchairs and Lift Systems, in addition to all other rehab equipment. With in-depth knowledge of the various drive trains, seating systems, and funding sources (in particular, the Ministry of Social Development) he can select, trial, and deliver the best Power Wheelchairs to his clients. Another area Jeff specializes in is ceiling lifts, or track-type lift systems and the associated slings. Jeff has done countless lift assessments in private homes, BC Housing units, and long-term care facilities. Jeff is also HME's leading VPL specialist where he has helped many families with the entire VPL process. He is someone that can make that process as easy as possible with the emphasis on safety and accessibility.
Before joining the HME Home Health team, Lana worked as a Registered Kinesiologist in Vancouver where she assessed and created treatment plans to improve patient mobility and strength. She uses this clinical experience at HME to ensure client needs are met and the most appropriate equipment is recommended to promote the best movement patterns and seating positions.
Specializing in Adult Rehab, Long-Term Care, and Accessibility equipment, Lana applies her background to better understand and connect with clients as she works towards making their everyday experience safer and more comfortable.
With a background in Kinesiology and over 10 years of customer service, Sabreen lends her knowledge and experience in assisting her clients to find the best fit for their needs. Sabreen works with a diverse group of clients ranging from Pediatric to Geriatric. She has a wide range of experience in Community Rehab, Long-Term Care, and Accessibility Products.
Being born and raised in the lower mainland, she takes pride in helping her community in any way she can! Working with people is a passion of hers and she would be happy to connect for product training, assessments, or anything else you may need!
Sherry graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and has extensive experience in sales and customer service in a wide range of industries both locally and overseas. Before joining HME, she worked to build treatment plans for patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions using a variety of sports medicine products. She has always been passionate about the human body and movement, and in her spare time volunteers to help make outdoor recreation accessible to people with disabilities. Working in Adult Rehabilitation, she will be helping clients with a variety of mobility needs adopt more independence and achieve a higher quality of life.
After attaining his Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, Jacob spent multiple years working in the fitness industry and as a Kinesiologist. He has now been with HME for over a year, specializing in Rehab, Long-Term Care, and Accessibility. Combining his background and his thorough training at HME, Jacob understands that every physical limitation is different and may require a unique solution. Jacob prides himself on helping others find those solutions and assisting in maximizing the well-being of everyone he works with.
With over 5 years of customer service experience, Wayne has had multiple roles at HME Home Health as a Client Services Representative overseeing HME’s Ministry of Social Development clients, to a Sales Coordinator supporting the other sales team members, and now as a Sales Team Member specializing in Long term care and Adult Rehab. With the constant pursuit of continued education in the field, Wayne has transitioned quickly to becoming an effective and efficient team member, managing his own clients with the utmost care and support.
With over 17 years in the Mobility & Accessibility industry and an Occupational Therapy background, Michelle brings technical experience and a wealth of knowledge to the HME team. Throughout her career, Michelle has been a speaker at the International Seating Symposium, the European Seating Symposium, and the Canadian Seating and Mobility Conference. Additionally, she is also certified in the Ride® Custom Certification Course and as a Registered Rehabilitation Technology Supplier from the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers.
Brian returns to HME Home Health as a Senior Mobility Consultant after 3 years of working as a representative at a major manufacturer of mobility equipment where he provided product training and support to mobility consultants and equipment providers across BC. Combining a unique background of rehabilitating clients with acquired brain injuries and over 7 years of experience working with customers in community home health and long-term care settings as a seating and mobility specialist.
Specializing in power mobility, manual wheelchairs, therapeutic surfaces, and home elevating products, Brian is looking forward to working with clinicians and their clients. With over 5 years in customer service and thorough training under the Senior Sales Team Members, Connor is known for his product knowledge and application in all areas of wheelchairs, patient lifts, and hospital beds for his diverse Pediatric to Geriatric clientele. He is determined to continue building strong relationships with local Health Units and Occupational Therapists to find the best solutions for his clients in the community.
With over 17 years of experience in the medical equipment industry for sales and technical service, Steven brings a vast knowledge to HME in helping clients find the proper fit for equipment for their lifestyle. Steven is willing to go the extra mile for his clients by being patient and understanding every client’s unique situations. He specializes in Community and Long-Term Care clients. Steven is also an expert in wheelchairs (powerchairs, manual, and tilt), hospital beds, mattresses, ceiling lifts, and slings.
Graham graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Biomedical Engineering and has over 13 years specifically as a Seating and Mobility Consultant. Today, he is HME Vancouver Island’s Sales and Business Development Manager. Consistently, Graham applies his strong aptitude for seating, positioning, posture, and advanced mobility within the field of power, tilt, manual, and rigid wheelchair frame technology in all areas of Rehab, Accessibility, Pediatrics, and Long-Term Care. Graham is also a Dealer Member and HME’s representative on the board of Home Medical Equipment Providers Association of BC (HMEPA).
