December 17, 2024 (Richmond, B.C.) – HME Home Health Ltd. is pleased to announce expanded operations for the Interior Region with a new location in Kelowna. Opening in Spring 2025, the new HME Kelowna, located at 1988 Kirschner Road, will see HME’s interior operations grow to over 10,000 sq. ft.
“Since opening in 2022, HME Kelowna has been one of our fastest-growing locations,” said Robert Boscacci, CEO & Co-Founder. “Our Kelowna location is now servicing long-term care, pediatrics, and adult rehab clients and the increase in business has resulted in our need for more space.”
“HME Kelowna is our central hub for servicing the interior region, including all surrounding towns and cities,” said Cameron Fleming, CIO & Co-Founder. “With the additional space, we have been able to expand our HME Kelowna team to 12 members and can further service the region from this new location.”
HME’s COO, Michelle Harvey, noted, “HME this past summer was added to the MSA for the Interior region, in addition to the other provincial and health authority contracts we serve.”
“The additional space will be crucial for supporting these contracted funders and will allow us to have a customized assessment room and training facility to support local clinicians,” Michelle continued. “As a leader in Advanced Rehab products this new location will allow us to seamlessly transition clients back home to the interior region when being discharged from rehab facilities across B.C.
Starting from a single operation in B.C.’s Lower Mainland a decade ago, HME has expanded aggressively across the province in recent years and has nine locations and over 85,000 sq ft. of office and warehouse in Richmond, Victoria, Surrey, Nanaimo, North Vancouver, Kelowna, Sechelt, and Abbotsford.
The company’s workforce is comprised of over 130 highly-trained professionals, technicians, and support staff.
HME Home Health offers a vast array of mobility and accessibility devices and medical equipment. Items include wheelchairs, power chairs, walkers, hospital beds, mattresses, other durable medical equipment, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and other installed products.
