November 1, 2024 (RICHMOND, B.C.) – HME Home Health is pleased to announce the launch of its newly re-designed accessibility website (https://www.hmeaccessibility.com/). The brand-new website is the first in the industry to allow the complete online purchasing of stairlifts, ramps, ceiling lifts, and other accessibility products.
Robert Boscacci, HME CEO and Co-Founder, said, “HME has always been a leader in the accessibility market. Our new website will move the industry forward again by allowing consumers to research, compare, spec, and price accessibility products all online.”
“The user-friendly, step-by-step format walks the consumer through each accessibility product and allows for drag-and-drop purchasing,” Boscacci continued. “Our new website allows for e-commerce accessibility purchasing and is one of the first in Canada.”
Michelle Harvey, COO, said, “While many companies do stairlifts, HME is a leader in all accessibility products and focuses on best-in-class certified installations and full ranges of products. Our new site will focus on residential and commercial accessibility installations and products, including ceiling lifts, pool lifts, change tables, stairlifts, ramps, and VPLs.”
“HME wants to be at the forefront of the industry, and our new HME accessibility website features – such as enhanced search capability, integrated live chat with our in-house Contact Centre, build and price online tools, and online purchasing and installation scheduling will capitalize on a technological gap in our industry,” Harvey added. “HME’s innovation continues to set us apart from our competition.”
Cameron Fleming, CIIO and Co-Founder, noted, “HME started our Accessibility Division in 2012 and quickly became the largest accessibility installation company in B.C.”
Fleming continued, “With our growing location base, now servicing most of the Province of British Columbia, our new Accessibility website was a natural progression and expansion of our growing accessibility division.”
Starting from a single operation in B.C.’s Lower Mainland a decade ago, HME has expanded aggressively across the province in recent years and has eight locations and over 80,000 sq ft. of office and warehouse in Richmond, Victoria, Surrey, Nanaimo, North Vancouver, Kelowna, and Sechelt.
The company’s workforce is comprised of over 130 highly-trained professionals, technicians, and support staff.
HME Home Health offers a vast array of mobility and accessibility devices and medical equipment. Items include wheelchairs, power chairs, walkers, hospital beds, mattresses, other durable medical equipment, stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, and other installed products.
