April 11, 2023 (Richmond, B.C.) HME Home Health Ltd., British Columbia’s award-winning and fastest-growing home-medical equipment company, unveiled a new QR code system that will assist clients and healthcare providers in selecting mobility and accessibility products.
“We are very excited to introduce this time-saving feature for our thousands of valued patrons,” said Robert Boscacci, HME’s Co-Founder and CEO.
“Our new QR code system was designed to enable clients or those assisting them to submit their customized orders directly to our team of dedicated professionals, who can then promptly fill each order for speedy pick-up or delivery.”
Cameron Fleming, Co-Founder and CIIO, noted that clients and healthcare providers will be able to peruse online HME’s extensive inventory of products to determine those that best suit their personal criteria.
“Simply by scanning their QR code, clients now can access a personalized order form with photographs and information on all of HME’s products,” he said.
“Whether they require a customized mattress, a power chair, or bathroom-safety equipment – or possibly a myriad of other items – our valued customers will have prompt selection and assistance.”
HME’s Vice President of Sales & Product, Michelle Harvey, drew attention to a unique feature that will allow current and future clients to subscribe to the company’s newsletter.
“Many, and perhaps most, of our clients have long-term needs in terms of mobility and accessibility,” she said. “With frequent updates from our HME newsletter, they now will be able to stay on top of new products, technological changes, and enhanced care.”
Aashray Garg and Shirley Le, HME Home Health’s IT Coordinator and Marketing & Public Relations Manager, respectively, who did much of the work to develop the new QR System, touted a feature whereby job applicants can peruse employment opportunities with the company.
“An individual who would like to join the HME team only has to scan the QR code, and they will be taken to a page that lists all of the company’s available positions. Then, they’ll be able to submit an application and determine which jobs best meet their skills and abilities.”
Starting from a single location in B.C.’s Lower Mainland a decade ago, HME has expanded aggressively across the province in recent years and today has six store-warehouse operations in Richmond, Victoria, Surrey, Nanaimo, North Vancouver, and Kelowna.
The company’s workforce is comprised of over 100 highly-trained professionals, technicians, and support staff.
HME Home Health has over 75,000 square feet of office and warehouse space in B.C. and offers a vast array of mobility and accessibility devices and medical equipment.
