The red “emergency stop” button, located on the bottom of the motor, can get pressed in very easily with the day to day routine of transfers. The motor will not function if the button is pressed in. Simply twist or turn the button clockwise and it will release and pop back out about ¼”. Now the lift will start working again.
Another one that can fool some people into thinking the lift motor is broken is that it will not operate when the charger cable is plugged in. Unplug the charger and the unit will operate normally again. Addressing these two issues over the phone first can in most cases rectify the problem immediately.
